The medical supply unit is available in two modern versions and one classic version: thanks to its all-round thin edge, the S700 a has a particularly refined appearance, while the front of the S700 b is horizontally stretched by a slim aluminium strip.
The housing of the medical supply unit is made from extruded, natural-anodised aluminium. An HPL décor can be set flush into the front, continuing the design of the patient room across the medical supply unit – or deliberately setting accents. There is also the option of executing the front in a glass look in several plain colours.
Mounted end caps in anodised aluminium round off the high-quality impression. The top and bottom are inclined by 6°. The top is made of highly translucent PMMA (acrylic) and is extremely resistant to common cleaning agents and disinfectants.
Application examples
Balanced Modernity
On the Schyns S700, the sockets, switches and other connections such as nurse call and communication technology can be arranged on the underside and on the front. The system-bound switch range used is especially broadly assorted and offers the right devices for almost every requirement. The medical gas outlets are arranged within easy reach on the front.
There are no obstructive projections anywhere around it that would restrict the usability of the plugs, flow meters and so on to be fitted. Inside, all the gas lines are screened off from the electrical area while remaining easily accessible in the event of maintenance. Easy cleaning and disinfection are ensured by the consistently flush installation of all parts.
Light Quality
On the upper side, the general lighting, angled into the room, illuminates the patient area and the room with a pleasant, glare-free light. Thanks to optimised lighting values and flexible control, the Schyns S700 is a reliable and adaptable solution. General lighting in LED technology is possible across the entire length.
Behind the continuous acrylic on the underside is the movable reading light in LED technology – optionally electronically movable, in order to respond flexibly to the room situation. Despite its low energy consumption, standard-compliant lighting of the reading level and the examination level is a matter of course. All Schyns lighting systems are optionally infinitely dimmable and support state-of-the-art lighting control via DALI / TouchDim.
