Medicine Meets Design – Experience Schyns Live at SPACE FOR HEALTH 2026

On Friday, November 6, 2026, the international symposium “SPACE FOR HEALTH” will take place for the second time at the Technical University of Braunschweig, following its successful debut in 2023. We at Schyns Medizintechnik are pleased to be participating as exhibitors and to present our solutions for modern patient care.

The symposium is dedicated to the complex interplay between architecture, people, medicine, and hygiene. The focus is on how we can design healthcare facilities to meet the high standards of functionality, hygiene, and medical care while simultaneously creating a pleasant environment for patients and staff.

For us at Schyns, this connection is crucial, because a modern patient room today must offer far more than just medical care. It’s about sensibly combining technology, architecture, and design to create spaces where patients can feel comfortable, without losing sight of the demands of everyday medical practice.

At the event, we’ll showcase our media distribution units and demonstrate our products live. In addition, we’ll present exciting new products from our company and provide insights into the latest developments in modern media distribution in patient rooms.
We’d like to take this opportunity to present our solutions in person, gain new insights from the fields of architecture and healthcare, and engage in dialogue with professional planners, architects, operators, and other industry stakeholders.

An exciting program focused on the future of healthcare construction
In addition to our own presentation, the symposium offers a diverse professional program featuring international experts from the fields of architecture, medicine, and healthcare.
The event kicks off with opening remarks and a keynote address on knowledge transfer in healthcare construction. The subsequent session, “Healthcare Construction of the Future,” focuses on innovative architectural concepts, patient-centered design, and new perspectives for planning healthcare facilities.
In the afternoon, the specialized sessions will address topics such as heat protection in healthcare construction and the intensive care unit of the future. The program is complemented by interdisciplinary workshops on topics such as structural health protection, ventilation, and collaboration between industry, academia, and planning professionals

SPACE FOR HEALTH thus offers an excellent opportunity to learn about new approaches, bring together different perspectives, and discuss the future of healthcare architecture together.
