Design Prize Rheinland-Palatinate 2013

Schyns Medizintechnik was awarded the Rheinland-Palatinate Design Prize 2013 for its Q100 medical supply unit. This was one of only 6 prize winners and 6 further awards. The prize was ceremoniously awarded in Koblenz castle on 26.11.

The jury member Christian Scholz (Designzentrum Rhein-Neckar) said of the Q100:
„The structured design and its realization; ergonomic details such as the automatic light tone adjustment over the course of the day and the incorporation of medical accessories (no tools required) are highly convincing. Its clear design satisfies all medical requirements without making an overly clinical impression. […] The balance achieved between practicality and well-being is an example of a high level of design.“
